Who We Are
We are a friendly, professional company which has been providing market research and consultancy to public and private sector clients since 1986.
We traded as Strategic Marketing up until June 2016, when we rebranded as Strategic Research & Insight to reflect our sole focus on research and evaluation services. Our long trading history has been built on maintaining a high level of repeat business, which is something we are very proud of.
Client-side and industry experience within our team allows us to easily understand and provide what our wide range of clients need. This understanding of having been in the shoes of the decision-maker is what sets us apart from many of our competitors.
We're friendly people to deal with too - buying an agency's services is about buying the people. We wouldn't have been trading this long if we weren't easy to get on with (as well as good at our jobs!) 'No man is an island' and neither is our company. We are part of a community - geographically, in our industry, with our staff, associates & suppliers and with our clients. What we do as a company reflects on us, on our team and on those we work with.

We believe in continuously improving all aspects of our business and our operations, and our ISO 9001 certification, as well as our company partner status with the Market Research Society (MRS) plays a key part in this. With data protection and security being a major concern in our industry and for clients, we have obtained Cyber Essentials accreditation. This provides reassurance about how we handle and store data, and the security of our operations.
It isn't just our business processes that are being constantly reviewed and improved, but our people too. We take professional development very seriously, and all our staff are continuously undertaking training to ensure we are always on top of our game - in our industry the old saying 'you learn something new everyday' holds particularly true.
